We are delighted to announce the details for the IBA/CIArb Accreditation Training Course in Civil and Commercial Mediation. The Course will take place in Paris, France from Monday the 27th of February till Friday the 3rd of March 2017

The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators is one of the world's leading centres for the development of arbitration, mediation and other forms of dispute resolution at all levels, with the European Branch representing the interests of its members all across the continent. Founded in 1915, the Institute has over 13,000 members in more than 100 different countries.

This course comprises six full days of skills-based learning delivered by practising and experienced mediators and provides candidates with the appropriate skills set that can lay the foundation for building an independent ADR practice.

Through the use of case studies, you will learn and gain practical experience of the skills and techniques required to manage mediation from initial instruction to conclusion. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to receive expert tutelage from some of the most revered peers of the mediation field, most notably Carrado Mora, Andrew Colvin and Dr Mohamed Raffa.

This course is presented in association with the International Bar Association (IBA) and is an exciting prospect for those seeking to become a CIArb Accredited Mediator. It is in line with the Mediation Committee within the CIArb and IBA ambition to provide its members with training opportunities worldwide. The Mediation Accreditation Course is supported by further advanced level courses, which will be offered to the course participants after their successful completion of Module1.

This will enable successful students to follow the Institute’s “Pathways to Membership Programme” which ultimately leads to the entitlement of full “Member” and “Fellow” of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators.

No other organisation in the dispute resolution business can offer this prestigious accolade.
